Having attended the Silver Flag hillclimb a couple of years ago with Mark Devaney I know what a great event it is so I went down for the day to drool over the amazing array of over 170 cars tackling the 8km course from the picturesque castle town of Castell Arquato up to a smaller castle town of Vernasca set in the foothills in the Emiliga Romagna region.
This year's fetaured marque was Abarth and they didn't disappoint with over 70 examples raging from 595s, 695s, TCRs ecc up to the 2 litre and 3 litre ex-works monsters. A number of exotic Alfas, Ferraris, Bugattis, Loutuses and more were also in attendance.
